Amber

Certified Canine Behavioral Trainer

Amber grew up fascinated by the skills of her English Springer Spaniels during pheasant hunts. She found nothing more fun than barrel racing, trial riding, delivering puppies and helping hurt animals; so, it is to no surprise she chose a life path that surrounded herself with animals. Soon after grade school, Amber managed a popular boarding facility where she trained employees about dog body language, socialization, and implementation of training plans for more difficult boarders. This led Amber to CO in 2011 where she studied beneath Aimee Sadler working with ‘red zone’, unadoptable dogs in Longmont Humane Society’s Training and Behavior Modification Department, Amber earned her canine Training and Behavior Modification certification shortly after becoming an AKC CGC evaluator. In her spare time, Amber is found training with her competitive sports dog club working towards the next competition, fostering behavior-issued dogs to help them become adoptable, and spending time with her OTTB (Off-the-Track Thoroughbred), Punch.  Amber will be bringing Behavioral Training to Care Veterinary Services as our Certified Canine Behavioral Trainer. Look for our announcement when class opens to learn and train under Amber!
